Your letters and comments:

Hi Edward,

It was such a pleasure to spend time with you and Barbara this past weekend. Thank you again for your straightforward and loving guidance on Christian Montessori. It certainly is cohesive

Sincerely,
Robin Cain
Montessori Coordinator, Incarnate Word Academy

Dear Edward,

Thank you for your kind invitation for dessert and coffee on the 4th. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend. I do however need an application form to renew my membership. If you could e-mail that to me it would be great! Your message is wonderful and needed.

Sincerely,
Barbara Beasley
Children's House of Galilee

Dear Barbara and Edward,

I want to tell you again what a blessing and encouragement you both were to all of us at Christian Center. For some reason we really needed the encouragement this year. Every teacher has confirmed this to me today. Thank you for being so willing to be used of God to help us put things in our ministry in the right perspective.

Another thing you did that I had not been able to do was to get Pattie Reeves to realize that her job should not be so bound by textbooks. Our Montessori students do not need 8 hours of lecture to learn. We will be looking forward to getting the information you can get together for her/us. You know we will use what ever you send!

This is the time of the year when budgets are reviewed and decissions for the next school year are made. It is important that teacher salaries are given priority along with materials and buildings. >From my perspective the two most valuable things I can give my staff are the free trip to the National Christian Montessori Fellowship conference and the conference at our school. The National Conference allows my staff to hear from people all over the world. They learn from others, are encouraged by others, and are able to share their ideas with others. The trip to our school is so relaxed and the staff is in their own environments. They feel free to get help with speciefic things. They get to demonstrate their abilities to the people they so highly respect. Everyone is now refreshed and encouraged to finish the school year.

May God continue to bless you and give you the spiritual, physical, and financial strength to continue this good work!

We love you,
Mary Cook

Hi Ed and Barbara,

Thanks for sharing your gifts with us at the past seminar! Very inspiring I just wanted to also let you know that I will be sending you a check for the books purchased.

Aloha,
Lisa

Dear Ed and Barbara,

I pray for your happy and blessed new year. Thank you so much for posting me on with your newsletter. Our nursery school has been along with 9 children and the new director is working hard to rebuild the school. But, the community's resistance keeps going also. I have been working as a volunteer once a week at the school and now I rest in total Sabbath entrusting all in God's hands. How are you doing? I truly thank you for all things you have been doing for us and our school. hope to hear you more.

Love,
Ui

Dear Ed and Barbara:

Thank you so very much for your wonderful message of hope in your email. I loved reading it! Sending our Christmas Blessings to you and your family, and a prayer for a Joyful New Year!

Much love,
Marlene Lee and for Michelle, too!

Dear Barbara and Edward,

Thank you for your beautiful message and inspiration. It has rekindled many issues for me, most importantly-hope. I forwarded it to my sister and the Bishop in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where I spent Christmas with my family. You may or may not remember me, but we met at the IMC Conference in Sarasota, Florida, in November 2003. I live in the west Paris suburbs and am the Director/Administrator of the small multicultural bilingual Montessori school I created. Establishing Montessori's growth in France is a bit like David and Goliath (Goliath being the nationalized traditional French public school system). There is not alot of room for "alternatives".

Ever since meeting you, and continuing to read and be inspired by the Cobbler, I have had a little voice that reminds me that having the two; Christian and Montessori education, is not only possible-but available in the US. These have always been my two "black holes" concerning my daughter's education. Episcopal churches, except for the Cathedral in Paris, are non existant. I am wondering if you would forward me the list of Christian Montessori schools in the US, please? My daughter is 9 (in her first year of her 9-12 cycle), and I am interested in schools that have a vision for continuing to 18-or already go to 18. May this New Year find you both in good health and may the love of Christ fill your hearts daily.

Warmest regards,
Cynthia Poupard

Ed,

Thank you so much for the lovely letter. Also, I want to acknowledge you and thank you for the lovely work on the parent book "Getting your $ worth...." . It is just a fabulous, simple and straight forward explanation of what Montessori brings to our children's lives. I am thinking about offering it to all our parents as a gift from the school. Do you do volume discounts (about 100 families)? Also, as we spoke about in November at the IMC conference, I do not approach Montessori education as a Christian School, however, I think it would be appropriate as a gift. It's a beautiful piece, I gave it to my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas, as my granddaughter begins school at Arbor Creek Montessori in Dallas in January. We're all excited!

Thanks again for your commitment to the Montessori's legacy to the world. Also, pray for me ....I have been invited to participate in the Oxford Round Table on Early Childhood Education in March at Oxford University. My abstract has been accepted to be presented there to the 35-40 attendees. I'm presenting the school model with an emphasis on the beginning of the model "Saturday School" for infant and parents. God has arranged this opportunity for me and I want the presentation to be effective and cause a "buzz" in that circle.

Again, thanks for sending me your news...

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Fidellow and family,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I ask that our Heavenly Father continue to shower blessings upon each of you and the special work you do. Continue to be a light in this world as our world is in need of love. I am so glad to be working as a Montessori teacher and a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Catechist. Thank you for always inspiring me to want to continue to reach out to our brothers and sisters all over the world. Please take care. I will pray for you and your family during this new year.

Your sister in Christ,
